Our Vision for Buckinghamshire
"In 2015, Buckinghamshire has maintained its economic success and its position as one of the most prosperous counties in England. At the same time it has enhanced its environment and improved the well being and quality of life of all its residents"

Welcome

What is the BSP?

The Bucks Strategic Partnership (BSP) is a Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) for the Buckinghamshire area. It brings together public and private organisations under an agreement to cooperate in improving life in Bucks. It is a group that provides over-arching direction for the family of Sustainable Community Strategies in Buckinghamshire. Look in the 'About' section for more detail.

How is it run ?

Following a consultation period, the new BSP governance arrangements were agreed by the Chief Executives of County and District Councils, and published in April 2008. The final document is available via the link below.

New LAA

The Local Area Agreement (LAA) is a commitment by partners – Councils, PCT, Police, Fire, Voluntary and Private Sectors - in Buckinghamshire to deliver improved outcomes in the country through joint working. It is basically a set of targets agreed by central (represented by GOSE) and local government to be achieved through partnership working. The Bucks Strategic Partnership oversees the Buckinghamshire Local Area Agreement. The targets in the new LAA are available by following the link below.
